Once upon a time there were to dinosaurs named....Rosy and Patty .They were friends. They played hopsckoch and wappers with threr tals.They met some friends.Rexy and Parey and they played wappers and prinssesses.Then Patty and Rossy went to the park with Parey and Rexy and we met a rilly MEAN T. Rex Rexy was fighting him and we won. We lived happyl ever after.The end.

B-7 Students went on a fossil egg hunt! They searched the front of the school for dinosaur fossils! Each student was lucky enough to find one. The students carefully took their eggs back to the classroom, where they became Paleontologists! They used tools to chip away at the dirt... and they were surprised to find a BABY DINOSAUR within the egg! The students then partnered up to write a story about their baby dinosaur. Yesterday we had our 1st grade program we sang songs and had a great time it was about dinosaurs. My favorite part of the play is when mommy and daddy took pitchers of me.We wore costumes all the girls wore flowers in there hair the boys wore hats it was cool. After are play we went to our class room and ate cookies and punch.My part in the play was allot of things it was AWESOME!

Hello everyone! First grade at Clarion Elementary has a special visitor for 5 weeks... an artist in residence! She is visiting us through a grant that was written this year. Her name is Clari Van Niekerk, and she is a world renown artist, author, and musician. Clari now lives in Meadville Pennsylvania, but is originally from South Africa. Check out her site here! Clari will be introducing 1st Grade to the world of Dinosaurs! The students will use art, music, movement and theatre to express what they have learned with Clari.
Mrs. B wanted her students to share this exciting time... and who better to collaborate with than Mrs. A's Global Gorillas!
So... through this Blog site, Mrs. A's class will be creating some neat dinosaur informative projects with the 1st graders... and Mrs. B's class will be sharing their experiences and projects created during Clari's stay.
